The shoes are obviously very pretty, but the toe strap is so loose on me. I do have unusually skinny feet, but nearly every other brand of shoes I've ever owned have been well-fitting in one size - if the shoes should be ordered one size smaller for feet on the narrower side (or are simply not made for feet on the narrower side), then the company should say so. I suppose next time I will have to order one size smaller, but I would be afraid that the shoes would be TOO small or otherwise uncomfortable.Also, Ellie shoes in general are poorly made. I'm quite gentle on my shoes, especially compared to a lot of dancers, but the buckles are flimsy, the elastic that holds the buckle is thin and ineffective, and the rubber on the bottom of the platform begins to bubble and peel off after only a few wears. In addition, even with the toe strap as loose as it is, the strap begins to stretch out after a while. If I was more rough on my shoes, I don't imagine these would last me more than a few months, and that's disappointing for the price.Wow these are some high ones!
