very clear soundsI legitimately got buzzed off of the fumes coming off of these. That said, I was just looking for a pair of affordable tap shoes to see if it's something I'd be interested in learning tap, as well as a fun quarantine activity, and I think these will do the job. Super cheap laces, horrendous chemical paint smell, hurts the back of your heel, BUT I ordered my regular street shoe size and they fit great. Really comfortable aside from the heel.If you're a beginner looking to just play around at home and not commit to a nice expensive pair yet, these work just fine. If you're in classes, I would pass on these for the smell alone unless you're really in a financial bind. The middle is also far too flexible for toe stands if you're into that.Overall, not great quality, but good enough for someone with a tight budget that isn't sure if they'll like tap dancing or stick with it. If you're sensitive to smells, DEFINITELY not for you.Shoe fits true to size. I'm a 9.5. It's a split-sole design and a little stiff for my comfort. I expected a little more movement in the shoe for my style. Taps sound good. I'm a heavy tapper. If you're an adult just starting out and you don't want to spend too much because you don't know if you'll stick with it, this is a good shoe. Plus, if it doesn't fit or you are just not happy tapping (although I don't know anyone who isn't happy when they're tapping) you can easily return it at no cost to you. You can get this shoe or similar elsewhere, but why? when shipping is free!These are just Ok... i had to get a replacement because the heel tap was coming loose, even after tightening. Honestly, I wish i would have spent a little more money and got nicer ones.You get what you pay for. No complaints at all! I didn't expect professional quality and I also didn't need professional ones. I wanted to ease my way back into tap dancing and this purchase was perfect for that. These are not suitable for classes but if you are questioning tap dancing and don't want to make the commitment to buying professional shoes, these are excellent. I highly recommend these if you are picking up tap as a hobby or simply wanting to try it out. These are true to size. I am 6.5 in most shoes and do have a wider foot. I purchased 6.5W and they fit perfectly.Length fits well. I have a narrow foot and I am able to tie them tight enough to stay on but they are loose. The sound is good for the price. Overall a decent shoe for the price. I'm bummed that the laces are showing fray after only a few months of weekly use.Soul is flexible and easy to flap and riff!!!
